Fused glass and textile artist

Hello!! I'm Sam and I originally trained at art college in London as a graphic designer, drifting into other convenient jobs as my family grew up. I've now returned to my artistic roots alongside my day job.

Starting with a 2 hour course on using a microwave kiln a spark was lit (metaphorically speaking … I didn’t really set fire to  anything!). On a bit of a whim I bought a larger kiln, lots of glass and it has  grown to something of an obsession. I'm even learning how to do lampworking too in a metal shed at the bottom of the garden.

I try to attend local craft fairs in Hertfordshire and surrounding counties and sell through this new sparkly shop online, my facebook page as well as  Flowers by Catherine in Wheathampstead, Ayletts Nurseries and most recently College Lake, wildlife trust in Tring.
